2026 Run Like the Windpipe Fundraiser

The second annual Run Like the Windpipe Fundraiser takes place Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park Picnic Site #8 in Edmonton. The family-friendly morning includes 10K run, 5K run, 5K walk, and 1K walk options supporting global surgical care partnerships focused on airway and reconstructive care.

The 10K starts at 9:15 a.m., 5K run/walk at 9:30 a.m., and 1K walk at 10:00 a.m. Race kit pickup is Saturday, September 19 at Running Room 109 Street.

Routes follow paved river valley trails from Laurier Park, with the 10K passing the Equine Centre and climbing toward Saskatchewan Drive before looping back. The 5K and 1K use shorter river valley pathways.
