About Run for Edmonton 2026
Run for Edmonton returns Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Gold Bar Park, organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elder Association (Majlis Ansarullah). The community 5K run and 2.5K run/walk support Edmonton's Food Bank and the Alberta Council of Women's Shelters.
Opening ceremonies and warm-up begin at 12:30 p.m., with the 5K starting at 1:00 p.m. and a ladies walk/run at 1:15 p.m. For Edmonton charity runs, it's a neighbourhood fundraiser welcoming families and neighbours.
