The 2026 Lunenburg 5km Road Race and Muffin Run takes place on Sunday, June 7 in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. This community 5K gives runners and walkers a scenic tour through one of Canada’s most distinctive harbour towns, with a route that starts at the community centre and rolls through local streets before a downhill finish.

The Muffin Run is part race, part local tradition. Participants can expect a welcoming road-race atmosphere, Run Nova Scotia series energy, and the event’s signature post-race muffins and draw prizes after the finish.
