About
Lost Soul Ultra Marathon 2026 returns to Lethbridge, AB on September 11-12, 2026, with trail ultras built around the Oldman River valley. The event brings a prairie landscape of coulees, hills, and long climbs into a compact weekend format.
Runners can choose from 100 Mile, 100K, and 50K options. It’s a loop-based race with a strong local identity and a course that asks for steady pacing more than speed.
For runners looking at Alberta trail races, this one stands out for its terrain, its repeated climbs, and the way the valley shapes the day from start to finish.
For runners comparing local trail options, it fits alongside other trail races in Lethbridge.
Course
The course uses a 50 km loop through the Oldman River valley coulees, with roughly 1,250 m of elevation change per lap. The 100 Mile and 100K races add an extra 9 km loop; the 50K completes one lap.
Start times are 8:00 AM for the 100 Mile, 8:30 AM for the 100K, and 7:00 AM for the 50K. The 100 Mile and 100K begin on Friday, and the 50K starts on Saturday morning.
