About Grizzly Ultra Marathon & Relay 2026
Grizzly Ultra Marathon & Relay 2026 brings trail racing to the Canmore Nordic Centre in Canmore, Alberta. The event pairs a 50K ultra with relay racing, giving both solo runners and teams a chance to take on the course in a mountain setting.
The race uses the former Olympic venue as its base, with the main stadium area serving as the start and finish. A free kids run also rounds out the weekend, making this a broad community race day rather than a single-distance event.
For runners looking for a Canmore trail challenge, the Grizzly format is built around climbing, teamwork, and steady support on course. Trail races in Canmore
