Friends Who Like to Do Things - Fun Run/Walk 2026

Friends Who Like to Do Things returns Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Between Friends Camp Bonaventure on Sandy Beach, a partnership between Girls Who Like To Do Things and Between Friends supporting inclusive recreation for people with disabilities. The 5K fun run/walk welcomes all abilities, with a new Runner's Village for supporters who prefer not to run.

Proceeds support Between Friends programs in Calgary and Red Deer, with donations matched up to 50% through Rogers Birdies for Kids. For more Calgary charity runs and road races in Calgary, it's an inclusive summer community event.

Course loops in and around Sandy Beach Park and the Lower Reservoir. Group warm-up at 10:45 a.m.; run/walk starts at 11:00 a.m. Camp Bonaventure does not have potable water on site.
