About
The 2026 Demi-Marathon Lachine returns to Lachine, Quebec on Sunday, October 18, 2026 for a full day of road racing along the Lachine Canal National Historic Site. Distances run from a 1K and 2K through 5K and 10K up to the flagship 21.1K half marathon, plus a 10K Nordic walk for anyone who wants the longer canal route at a walking pace.
It's a strong late-season pick in Greater Montreal: the 5K, 10K, and 21.1K courses are Athletics Canada certified, registration includes an official T-shirt and finisher medal, and the day wraps at Parc René-Lévesque. Start areas sit along Chemin du Canal and at the park entrance depending on distance.
For runners comparing fall options, it sits comfortably among half marathons in Montreal and other road races in Montreal.
