About
Course-marche Centraide returns to Parc Jean-Drapeau on Thursday, October 1, 2026, with a chip-timed 5K and a 3.5K walk on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. The City of Montreal employee fundraiser supports Centraide du Grand Montréal, with horticultural sculptures from Mosaïcultures internationales de Montréal along the route and a nod to the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Olympic Games.
Registration is open to City of Montreal staff, elected officials, retirees, and paramunicipal personnel. A separate remote À ton rythme challenge runs October 5–18 for five hours of physical activity. For more Montreal charity runs on the island, this is a weekday evening workplace fundraiser rather than an open public road race.
