About
La Classique Jacques-Cartier takes place on November 8, 2026, in the heart of Quebec City, starting at Le Grand Marche de Quebec and finishing at the Lieu historique national Cartier-Brebeuf. Now in its second edition after drawing more than 1,000 runners in its debut, this road race winds through Limoilou and along the berges de la riviere Saint-Charles for a flat, fast, and festive end-of-season course.
Distances from 1 km to 10 km make this accessible to the whole family. Runners can choose a timed or untimed bib, and all participants receive a post-race experience at the Grand Marche, including a gourmet lunch and a certificate-gift redeemable at market vendors, supporting local Limoilou merchants and artisans.
