5 Peaks Cypress Mountain is the third British Columbia stop in the 2026 5 Peaks Trail Running Series, taking place at Cypress Mountain on July 18, 2026. The event includes kids races, Sport, Enduro, and Grit trail options on mountain terrain above Vancouver.

Distances include a 1K kids race, a 2.75K kids race, 6.0K Sport, 12.75K Enduro, and 16.4K Grit. The schedule begins with the Grit wave at 8:00 AM, kids races at 8:15 AM and 8:45 AM, Enduro at 9:00 AM, and Sport at 9:15 AM.

Expect a technical trail setting with singletrack, climbs, and mountain-resort amenities nearby. Distances and maps may change based on trail conditions, so runners should check race-week updates before heading to the start line.

• Start/finish at Cypress Mountain alpine area (near alpine parking and resort facilities).
• Terrain comprised of technical singletrack, doubletrack climbs, and rooty, rocky sections.
• Enduro course includes a technical add-on that passes two alpine lakes.
• Aid support at start/finish and one or more on-course stations offering water and Blonyx Hydra+ electrolyte (cup-free event).
• RunGo route available for turn-by-turn navigation and live tracking during the race.

• Technical singletrack and steep climbs: Courses mix gnarly singletrack with hard climbs on doubletrack and rooty, technical sections to test descending and footing.
• Alpine lakes on the Enduro route: The Enduro add-on routes runners past two scenic alpine lakes amid root-strewn trail.
• Cup‑free race with on-course electrolyte: Water and Blonyx Hydra+ electrolyte drink are available at the start/finish and at on-course aid stations — bring a reusable bottle or pack.
• RunGo live navigation and tracking: Turn-by-turn route guidance and live tracking are available through the RunGo app for competitors and supporters.
• Dedicated Hiker division: Non-competitive hikers start an hour early with pace leaders and estimated 2–3 hour finish windows, no running allowed.
