2025 Trinity Fort to Forge 5k/10k Run/Walk

The Trinity Fort to Forge 5k/10k Run/Walk is an annual event held in Trinity, Newfoundland and Labrador. Participants can choose between a 5k or 10k course that follows the coastline, starting from Fort Point Lighthouse (10k) or Dunfield (5k) and finishing in the historic town of Trinity. The event is open to all ages and aims to raise funds for local organizations, including the Trinity and Area Volunteer Fire Department Club and the Fort Point Lions Club.

Participants are encouraged to register by September 1 to guarantee a t-shirt. Race kit pick-up and in-person registration are available at Trinity Town Hall on the evening before the event from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on the morning of the event from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Late registration is by cash or cheque only.

• Moderately challenging course with some long uphills and rewarding downhills
• Course surfaces include gravel and uneven roads
• Parts of the course run alongside coastal cliffs
• Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult
• Strollers allowed despite course challenges
