About
The Push & Pace 2025 is an inclusive, family-friendly walk/run event organized by Aspire Child Development Centre in Red Deer, Alberta. It welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, including those using wheelchairs and strollers, and is designed to celebrate community, accessibility, and support for children with diverse needs and their families across Central Alberta.
This event is more than just a race—it's a chance to come together for a meaningful cause. Participants help raise funds for Aspire's vital child development services while enjoying a festive atmosphere with a group warm-up, multiple race distances, and post-race activities like a free BBQ lunch and children's entertainment.

Course
The Push & Pace course starts at Parkland School, just south of the Kerry Wood Nature Centre in Red Deer. Runners and walkers can choose from 1 km, 3 km, or 5 km routes, all of which are fully paved and accessible for everyone, including those using wheelchairs and strollers. The course is designed to be comfortable and welcoming, making it easy for families and individuals of all mobilities to participate together.
Participants can expect a supportive, community-driven atmosphere throughout the event. With on-site activities, enthusiastic volunteers, and a schedule that includes a group warm-up and staggered start times, the day is set up for a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
