Runners are trying to decide what to run
Most people arrive while comparing dates, distances, locations, and the general feel of different races.
For race organizers
The Running Directory helps runners find Canadian races by location, distance, date, and terrain. Add a new race or send updates for an existing listing so runners can find the right date, distances, location, images, and registration link in one place.
Think of the listing as the practical page a runner checks before deciding whether your race is the right fit.
Most people arrive while comparing dates, distances, locations, and the general feel of different races.
A good page answers the simple questions: when it is, where it starts, what distances are offered, and where to register.
Images, maps, and a few useful notes make it easier for runners to picture the event before they sign up.
Start by getting the race details into the directory. From there, keeping the page current is pretty straightforward.
Submit a new race through the form, or email us if your race is already listed and something needs to be changed.
Send the date, distances, location, registration link, organizer details, images, maps, and anything runners should know before signing up.
We review what you send and publish or update the page so runners can find it across the directory.
If dates, links, pricing, distances, or images change, send an update and we will keep the page accurate.
How much does it cost?
Standard race listings are currently free to add or update. The directory is only useful if races are represented accurately.
If you ever want extra visibility later, there are optional paid extras. The standard listing can stay live either way.
Standard listing includes
If you want more visibility, these are the kinds of extras we can add around the race page.
Give your race more visibility on relevant directory pages.
Add more images, maps, video, distance details, and richer race information.
Share your race with runners who want to hear about events across Canada.
A better fit for organizers with several races or a race series to keep updated.
We are keeping this deliberately simple for now. If you are interested in featured placement, newsletter support, or a richer race page, send a note and we can talk through what makes sense for your event.
Why this matters
You do not need to build another page from scratch. Send the details you already have, and we will turn them into a listing that is useful for runners.
The better the details are, the better the directory gets for everyone using it. Images, course maps, and organizer updates all help runners understand the race before they click through to register.
Start by sending the race details. If the race is already listed, send the updates and we will make sure the page is accurate.
