About The 5/15 Farm Run 2026

The 5/15 Farm Run is one of Ottawa's most unique evening race experiences, held annually at the Central Experimental Farm. The name says it all: 5:15 PM is the moment the cows at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum are led to the pasture — and the runners take to the course.

Choose your distance: a 1K Kids Fun Run, a 5K, or a 15K race, all winding through scenic farm routes on a Wednesday evening. The 5K and 15K feature a dedicated stroller wave, making this a wonderful family outing for runners at every stage of life. Free downloadable race photos are included for all participants.

Participants can opt for the Green Bib, skipping the medal in exchange for a portion of their registration fee being donated to The Good Companions, a nonprofit seniors' centre delivering social, recreational, and educational programs to older adults in Ottawa. Optional add-ons include a technical shirt, kids' cotton shirt, and iTab ribbon hanger.
