2026 The Herring Run 10/20k trail race

The Herring Run takes place on July 19, 2026 in Mascarene, NB. This New Brunswick trail race brings runners to 352 Mascarene Rd for a coastal summer test on the shore of Passamaquoddy Bay. Runners can choose 9.75K or 19.5K on a single-loop course run once or twice. The route is technical, scenic, and laced with singletrack, shoreline running, a low-tide cove crossing, and 278m of vert on the new 2026 course.

The 2026 course is a 9.75 km loop starting and finishing at 352 Mascarene Rd. It runs into the woods, along the rocky shore, and across a cove at low tide, with a more technical layout and 278m of vert.
