2026 Campobello Coastal Challenge

The Campobello Coastal Challenge takes place on August 22, 2026 in Welshpool, NB, on Campobello Island’s rugged coast. Runners start at Roosevelt Campobello International Park and take on a scenic island course with multiple distance options. This trail race brings together forested paths, rocky beaches, coastal cliffs, bog boardwalks, and a stretch through Herring Cove Provincial Park. With 10K, 25K, 50K, and a Kids Run, it offers a memorable coastal running day with community support and a fundraiser for the local food bank.

The longer routes begin at Roosevelt Campobello International Park and move across rocky coastal outcrops and tidal bogs before crossing into Herring Cove Provincial Park. The course includes beach, forest, and coastal trail sections, with aid stations on the 25K route and support at the start/finish area.
