2026 14th Annual National Indigenous Day RUN THE SPIT 5K

The 2026 14th Annual National Indigenous Day RUN THE SPIT 5K takes place on June 19, 2026 in Campbell River, BC. This free community event brings runners and walkers together for National Indigenous Day celebrations. The timed 5K starts at Liǧʷiłdaxʷ Health Society on Drake Road and follows a waterfront route to Dick Murphy Park before returning to the start. A pancake breakfast adds a festive finish to a friendly race-day atmosphere.
