The courses wind primarily along the scenic Great Lakes Waterfront Trail, offering a mix of river views, rural landscapes, and a peaceful ambiance. Surfaces include a short section of dirt road followed by mostly smooth asphalt. The marathon features a net downhill profile beginning at Crysler Park Marina, while other distances start at St. Lawrence College in Cornwall, ON. Well-marked routes and official aid stations support runners throughout the event. Bib pickup takes place at the college as part of a pre-race expo, with registration tiers helping manage participant flow.
