Run Comfy Numb Trail Race 2026

About
Run Comfy Numb Trail Race 2026 returns to Whistler on May 30, 2026. Organized locally by Endurance Specific Events (Endurance Specific Coaching Ltd), Run Comfy Numb has been a fixture in the valley since 2004 and markets itself as Whistler’s OG trail race — a point-to-point test built around the Comfortably Numb trail that the community completed the year the race began.
The event runs as a single-day in-person festival with two distances: 50 km (start 7:00 AM) and 25 km (start 7:50 AM with two short wave starts at 7:50 and 7:53). Package pickup takes place Friday, May 29 from 3:00 PM–8:00 PM at Mt Waddington’s Whistler store and again on race morning at the start from 6:00 AM–7:35 AM. Shuttle buses from Spruce Grove Park run from 6:00 AM, looping roughly every 30 minutes with a final shuttle around 7:15 AM. Chip timing is introduced for 2026, enabling accurate splits and the 25K wave starts.
What sets Run Comfy Numb apart is its nearly all-singletrack, point-to-point layout with technical black-diamond sections and sweeping valley vistas — a route aimed at seasoned trail runners who want sustained technical terrain rather than wide gravel fire roads. The finish at Spruce Grove Park becomes a low-key après with music, food trucks, free photos and family-friendly activities. On-site recovery offerings include guided ice baths led by a Wim Hof instructor and manual therapy from physios, RMTs and chiropractors. The event operates cupless; runners must carry their own cup, and 50K entrants may leave a drop bag at the 25 km Wedge aid station.
Registration is handled through the race’s official registration channel; entries include shuttle selection and optional add-ons such as training plans. Check the official site for entry status, race policies and final logistic updates.
