The GMS Queen City Marathon is Saskatchewan’s signature running celebration, drawing thousands each September to the scenic heart of Regina. With a warm, inclusive vibe and a flat, fast course that's ideal for both first-time and experienced runners, this three-day festival brings together the joy of movement and the strength of community. From kids’ mini-runs to the Boston Marathon–qualifying Marathon, participants of all backgrounds can find their stride. Set against the backdrop of beautiful Wascana Park, the event champions accessibility, inclusion, and community pride. Whether you're solo or with family, casual or competitive, there's a race to fit your pace — from Fun Runs to the energizing team Relay.

The Queen City Marathon course is a certified loop run primarily on smooth, paved urban roads and park trails, offering minimal elevation change — perfect for personal bests or steady pacing. Beginning and ending in picturesque Wascana Park, the route showcases Regina’s scenic lake and city skyline. Enthusiastic local spectators line parts of the course, creating a friendly and uplifting race-day atmosphere. With a participant cap of up to 9,999 runners and in-person bib pickup available, logistics are smooth and runner-focused.
