The Community Strong Race Weekend 2026 is a signature annual event in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, dedicated to promoting physical and mental health while raising vital funds for youth mental health programs in the Algoma District. Organized by the AFS Foundation in partnership with local organizations, the event has become a cornerstone of community engagement since its inception in 2022. The 2026 edition marks the fifth anniversary, reflecting the event’s growth and ongoing commitment to supporting local causes.
Participants can choose from a variety of races, including a certified Boston Marathon qualifier, half-marathon, 10km run, 5km Colour Run, and the unique USW2724 Special Forces Challenge.
