2026 The Mangy Coyote Backyard Ultra

The Mangy Coyote Backyard Ultra takes over Trenton Park in Trenton, Nova Scotia on Saturday, October 24, 2026. This backyard-style endurance event is built around a 9:00 a.m. start and a long day of looping effort. Runners can expect a scrappy trail race with an estimated 4–6 km loop and 40–60 m of elevation on groomed gravel trails and singletrack. It’s a fundraiser for Pictou County United Way, with aid, crew space, and a no-frills race-day atmosphere.

The course is expected to use a mixed trail loop through Trenton Park, combining groomed double-wide gravel trails with technical singletrack. Aid support, hydration, light snacks, and tent space for crew are planned near the start/finish area.
