2026 The First Blaze Trail Race

The First Blaze Trail Race takes place on July 11, 2026 in Milton, ON, starting from Kelso Conservation Area. This point-to-point trail race follows the Bruce Trail and brings together runners for a true summer trail day in the Milton escarpment. Distances include a 50K trail challenge, a 25K option, a 10K out-and-back, and a 5K race. Expect a technical course, marked Bruce Trail terrain, aid stations, shuttle support for longer distances, and a grassroots race atmosphere.

This race runs on the permanently marked Bruce Trail, with the 50K following a point-to-point route and the 10K using an out-and-back course from Kelso Conservation Area. The course includes technical trail sections, rocks, roots, short road segments, bridges, boardwalks, stiles, and roughly 800m of elevation gain on the 50K.
