2026 The Chiggy Ultra

The Chiggy Ultra returns to Cape Chignecto Provincial Park in Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia on October 3, 2026. This rugged trail event brings runners into one of the province’s most demanding and scenic park settings. Expect technical singletrack, major elevation, and looped ultra distances that build the challenge with every lap. With a 9K option alongside longer 51K, 102K, and 153K formats, this is a true test piece for runners who like their trail races steep, wild, and memorable.

The course uses Cape Chignecto’s technical trail network and a counterclockwise loop around the park. Expect steep climbing, singletrack, and a demanding coastal park route with major vertical gain on each lap.
