2026 Sneakers & Strays

The event supports hart’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home stray and abandoned dogs, with a fun community atmosphere and race-day perks.

The in-person course starts at Buena Vista Dog Park in Edmonton’s river valley and is offered as a 3 km walk or 5 km run. Participants can take part with or without a dog, with the event centered around a relaxed community run-walk experience.
