2026 Doctors Nova Scotia Youth Run

Doctors Nova Scotia Youth Run takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026 in Sydney, NS at Open Hearth Park. It brings together young runners and caregivers for a morning of youth-focused running and walking. School-aged participants can choose 2 km or 4 km, while preschool-age children can join the Tiny Tot Trot. The route starts at the trail, and the event includes family-friendly support, medals, and a community atmosphere at one of Sydney’s best-known parks.

Both the 2 km and 4 km routes start at the beginning of the trail at Open Hearth Park. The course is organized for youth runners with volunteers on hand, and strollers are allowed while staying to the right.
