2026 CVRR Backyard Ultra

2026 CVRR Backyard Ultra brings Courtenay runners to the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds on July 25, 2026. This backyard ultra starts at 8:00 AM and rolls out from the lower field at 4839 Headquarters Rd. Runners tackle a marked 6.706 km loop that winds through forests, fields, horse track, and river trails, with very limited pavement. Solo runners and 3–5 person teams can take part, with camping available on site for a full race-day weekend feel.

The course is a marked 6.706 km loop around the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds, using soft surfaces on the horse track and river trails with very limited pavement. First laps are marshalled, and water, electricity, and washrooms are available at the venue.
