2026 Cavendish Race Weekend

Cavendish Race Weekend takes place June 20–21, 2026 in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, with race-day activity centered around Avonlea Village and Shining Waters Family Fun Park. The weekend brings together a kids run, 5K, and 10K in one of PEI’s most recognizable seaside settings. Runners can choose from approachable to more challenging trail routes, with the 5K and 10K weaving through Prince Edward Island National Park. Expect a mix of coastal scenery, wooded sections, open parkland, and a race-day atmosphere that feels made for families, walkers, and trail runners alike.

The 5K and 10K use trail routes through Prince Edward Island National Park, with the 5K following Cavendish Beach Trail and Dunelands Trail and the 10K adding more trail distance through the Homestead Trail system. The kids run starts at Shining Waters Family Fun Park.
