2026 5 Peaks Trail Running Series: Chickakoo

2026 5 Peaks Trail Running Series: Chickakoo takes place on August 9, 2026 at Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area in Onoway, AB. It’s a trail running adventure built for all ages, abilities, and ambitions. Runners can choose from kid-friendly options, a Sport Run or Hike, and an Enduro Run or Hike. Expect wooded trail terrain, singletrack, and a course that finishes with a ridge-top view before the return to the start/finish.

The start/finish is at the main parking lot, and the route quickly heads deep into the park on singletrack trail. The Enduro is a single loop, while the Sport course is shorter and the terrain is described as challenging with a ridge climb before the run back to the finish.
